This screen enables you set the following parameters:
Prompt to change automatically generated Customer References
When creating a new customer, the customer's reference code is generated automatically. There is an option when creating an invoice, to create a new customer at the same time. If this option is selected then when you save the new customer you will be given an option to change to reference code. This option does not apply when you are creating a customer in the customer list screen.
Depot options
This gives you the option to include a depot number when exporting to Sage, which will use it as a department number. You can also change the depot/department numbers.
Show cash account option on customers
Selecting this enables the Cash Account option in customer records. You can also specify which customer reference should be used when exporting to an external accounts system and the customer has been marked as a cash customer.
Show lease company options on Customer/Vehicle
Selecting this option enables you to define a customer and a lease company for a vehicle and determine which address is used on jobsheets and invoices.
Default customer credit terms
This defines the default customer credit terms. This can be overridden in the customer details screen.
Internal customer accounts
Selecting 'Zero VAT amounts' and clicking the 'Update Existing Records' button will reduce the VAT amount on internal accounts to zero.
The 'use cost price for stock parts' option means that for internal invoices, the cost price of any stock parts will be used instead of the retail price.
