Icons and Toolbars


The main GDS Workshop Manager window has two rows of icons. The upper row contains icons which open the main parts of the system.

Main Toolbar Icons

In each case, these icons open a window which contains a list of the available items in that category. From that list you can select and work with individual items.

The lower toolbar is split into two sections. The left-most toolbar contains icons which enable you to create new items, edit items, save items, cancel changes and delete items. These icons work with the currently-active screen, so if your Customer list is open then clicking the New icon New24 will create a new Customer record. In the centre are two navigation icons, 'Back and 'Next'. These icons enable you to move through items in a list.

The right-most toolbar is context-sensitive and will contain icons which perform functions which are relevant to the currently-active window. The available icons will change depending on which window is active. The functions available in this toolbar are detailed in the help page corresponding to each category.
