Repair Times and Schedules

There is an optional feature to enable GDS Workshop Manager to use the ICME database of repair times and schedules. Access to this database can help to you plan jobs and technicians' time more effectively.
The database is most useful when used in conjunction with estimates, jobsheets and invoices. The data can be directly carried across into the estimate etc you are working on.
Using the repair times database
To add information from the repair times database to (e.g.) a jobsheet:
| 1. | Open or create the jobsheet and ensure that you have included a vehicle in the jobsheet. |
| 2. | Click the Edit icon  in the toolbar. |
| 3. | Click the Job Times icon  in the toolbar; the repair times database will open and the vehicle in the jobsheet will be pre-selected. |
| 4. | If required, select further the vehicle's engine, gearbox, fuel and year from the drop-down lists. |
| 5. | Select the precise vehicle from the Model Group list. |
| 6. | In the Repair Times tab, select the relevant task group and then select, by checking, the required tasks from the right-hand pane. |
| 7. | Continue selecting the group and tasks as required. |
| 8. | When you have selected all the tasks, click the 'Add selected operations' button to add the tasks to the jobsheet details. |
