The screen enables you to set up users and passwords.

Adding a user
You must have Administrator-level access to add a user and password.
To add a user:
| 1. | Click the Edit icon in the toolbar. |
| 2. | In the new line enter a username and, optionally, the user's real name. |
| 3. | Click in the Password field and click the button. |
| 4. | In the Password window enter the user's new password twice and click the OK button. |
| 5. | Click the Save icon in the toolbar. |
Setting a user's password
You must have Administrator-level access to set or change a user's password.

To set or change a user's password:
| 1. | Open GDS > Configuration Settings > Users and Passwords. |
| 2. | In the User list, click in the Password field of the user whose password is to be set or changed. |
| 3. | In the User Password window, enter the new password twice. |
| 4. | Click the OK button to save the new password or click the Cancel button to discard it. |
Setting user permissions
Users can have varying levels of access to the Workshop Manager. Varying this level of access effectively restricts a user's access to only certain parts of the system. There is also a setting which restricts a user to read-only access. In this case the user can view all parts of the Workshop Manager but cannot add, change or delete anything.

To set or change a user's password:
| 1. | Open GDS > Configuration Settings > Users and Passwords. |
| 2. | In the User list highlight the user whose permissions you want to change and click the User Permissions icon in the toolbar. |
| 3. | Click the Edit icon in the toolbar. |
| 4. | Select the required permissions by checking or unchecking the options as required. |
| 5. | Click the Save icon in the toolbar to save the changes or click the Cancel icon to discard the changes. |
